On International Women's Day we like to put all power women in the spotlight!Zusss has over 400 outlets, many of which are run by enterprising and inspiring power women, all with their own story. Today some of our dealers share some of their story:

ALINDA - OWNER OF STORE LUV IN SPAKENBURG.

"22 years ago, I traded my job at RTL4 for starting a store. A small store near the harbor of Spakenburg with the goal: the threshold must go down. Everyone who steps inside should have a feeling of coming home. Soon our premises proved too small and we made the move to larger premises. Our team grew and to this day I work with so much pleasure and passion. A few years ago we did a core value research with our team and LOVE came out as the main core value. Hence the name: LUV, derived from love. I'm always looking for a nice mix of articles. Beautiful books, stuff for in the house, gifts and so on. And of course I am very happy with Zusss! LUV is more than a store. It is also a community. A place you want to belong to and a place to be."

STEFFI - OWNER OF THE STORE 'KOLLEKT' IN LEOPOLDSBURG, BELGIUM.

 "You're young and you want something. My ready-made answer when people declared me 'crazy' with my plan to open a concept store and certainly in my beautiful home village of Leopoldsburg. But life is too short not to realize your dreams, right? In 2012, I graduated as an interior designer. There you are, with a Master's degree in your hands and you know for sure that a desk job is not for you. So I kept studying to put off that work just a bit more. But 2 years later I realized that I wanted to realize 'my dream'. I ended up at Unizo and went into counseling with them. An intensive period followed in which we started looking for great brands and premises. In October 2015 it was finally happening. 'Kollekt' was a fact and I haven't regretted my decision for a second. Another year later I thought it was time for a webshop. So Kollekt will come to you from now on. And we keep dreaming, so who knows what will follow."

YVONNE - OWNER OF THE STORE FRAPPANT IN SCHIJNDEL

"30 years ago my adventure began. I opened the store in a beautiful monumental building on the market in Schijndel. With love I put together an extensive and distinctive collection every season. Attention for the customer is paramount in our store: there is a nice atmosphere and we want all customers to enjoy their purchase at Frappant. With us you have come to the right place for the nicest home accessories and gifts."

MAUREEN - OWNER OF THE STORE VILLA DAISY IN DALFSEN

"At Villa Madelief, we make every day a party! Love, warmth and coziness are the best ingredients to make your house a home. Villa Madelief wants to contribute to that with love. In 2014 I traded in my regular job to go into business. I started a webshop and later opened the doors of a physical store. The affinity with interior design was already there at a young age, the furniture in the nursery was never in the same place for long. Now I can express my passion every day in my work."
