Sinterklaas trifle

STEP 1

Time to get the mixer out of the cupboard and grab a nice bowl! Whip the cream with the sugar and a pinch of speculaaskruiden lekker luchtig, just not quite stiff, then it is perfect!

STEP 2

Turn the mixer to the lowest setting and gently mix the mascarpone into the whipped cream mixture. Make sure it becomes a smooth, creamy mass. Now you've made your own speculoos trifle! 

Now it is time to cut the cake into pieces and peel the tangerines. Then divide them into pieces.

Now that everything is ready, you can start building the trifle!

STEP 3

Start with a layer of speculoos cream; use half. Crumble 3 speculoos over this. Spread half of the tangerine segments over this. Then put half of the cake cubes on top and then make a layer of the orange yogurt.

After that, you can put 7 speculoos along the edge. Then divide some tangerine segments on top again, but be sure to save some for decoration as well. Now add the remaining cake cubes and finish the trifle with the speculaas cream.

STEP 4

Decorate as desired with the leftover tangerines and Sinterklaas chocolates. SO much fun!
