Mother's Day breakfast skewers

Surprise mom this year with a loving and delicious Mother's Day breakfast! With this fun recipe from Hemelssbakken, you can make these cheerful breakfast skewers with mini pancakes, fresh fruit, and a touch of Nutella or honey. Not only are they delicious, but they're also super fun to make with the kids. Serve them on beautiful tableware from Zusss, and your Mother's Day will be perfect!
You will need
• 125g flour
• 20g sugar
• Pinch of salt
• 0.5 tsp baking powder
• 150ml milk
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Frying pan + butter for frying
• Cocktail sticks
toppings
• Fruit : banana, strawberry, and blueberries
• Nutella, honey, and powdered sugar

STEP 1
Put the flour, sugar, a pinch of salt, baking powder, milk, egg, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Mix everything into a smooth batter without lumps.

STEP 2
Heat a knob of butter in a frying pan and pour small mounds of batter into the pan, about the size of mini pancakes. Fry the mini pancakes for about 1 minute on each side until golden brown and fluffy. Then let them cool for a moment (so that the Nutella doesn't melt when you add it).

STEP 3
Thread the mini pancakes onto cocktail sticks, alternating with pieces of banana, strawberry, and blueberry. You can spread some Nutella or honey between the layers for extra sweetness. Serve on a pretty plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and voilà, a breakfast to dream of!
