You will need this
1 roll of fresh puff pastry on baking paper
50 g green pesto
50 g grated mature cheese
Baking sheet
Zusss skewers
Baking brush and pan set

STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Meanwhile, roll out the puff pastry on the baking sheet and brush the puff pastry with pesto using the pastry brush.
STEP 2
Using a knife, cut narrow strips (about 1 cm) and divide them into lengths (in 3 sizes, from small to large). And fold the strips in half.

STEP 3
Spread the strips on the baking sheet, spread with another bit of pesto and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake the Christmas trees in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Please note, the Zusss breadsticks cannot go in the oven!
STEP 4
Let the Christmas trees cool and thread the different lengths onto the breadstick (from small to large) so that it takes the shape of a Christmas tree.

STEP 5
Present the Christmas trees on a pretty platter next to a festive soup or present them on a drinks board during a cozy get-together. Bon appetit!
