Financial administrative assistant m/f

Financial administrative employee m/f
Ridderkerk
Fulltime (32 - 38 hours)

We are looking for you!

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Financial Administrative Assistant with great numerical insight! You are critical by nature, like to analyze and always think in financial and cost-saving possibilities. Together with the Finance & Control team you will work on the financial administration of Zusss. Are you that smart colleague, who likes messing around with numbers and can't wait to help Zusss grow? Read on quickly!

Who are you?

Above all, you have a great "sense of numbers" and prefer to leave the "sense of style" to your creative colleagues. You are the specialist in general ledger accounts, debtors and creditors and you know better than anyone how a monthly or annual closing is done. You are an organizational, analytical and administrative talent!

Are you that driven colleague with a critical, commercial view and a hands-on and no 9 to 5 mentality, do you think in solutions, are you a social, warm-hearted and positive person, who likes to work in a team but also independently? Do you have a completed relevant financial education (MBA level) and at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position? Are you fluent in Dutch and English and can you read and write Excel? Are you looking for a varied position within a dynamic organization, where your financial expertise makes the difference? Then you are the colleague we are looking for!

What will you do?

As a Financial Administration Assistant, you will be an important part of our finance team. You will be responsible for keeping the financial administration running smoothly and ensuring that everything is processed correctly and on time. You will have a broad role, covering day-to-day administration as well as monthly and year-end closings. Your duties will include:

Financial administration

You will ensure that daily administration is taken care of to perfection: from writing off the bank book to updating budgets and monitoring payments through Multisafepay. You will be responsible for loading Power BI reports, managing bank records and processing credit notes for individuals. On a monthly basis, you will do the CPI declaration and ensure correct year-end closing.

Month end

You are also an important link in the monthly closing process. You check suspense accounts, prepare profit and loss figures, prepare balance sheet figures and take care of asset write-offs.

Accounts payable and accounts receivable management

In your role, you will also be responsible for both accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will manage the Blue10 (invoicing) system, checking all invoices and posting them to the correct general ledger accounts. You enter purchase invoices, process payments and take care of internal write-offs and movements where necessary. In addition, you send timely reminders and demands to debtors and report weekly on outstanding receivables. In addition, you also make an age analysis of debtors so that we always have an overview of our outstanding receivables.

In short, you make sure everything runs smoothly financially!

And beyond that?

At Zusss we believe in a great workplace where you can grow and develop yourself. Our team is close, enthusiastic and works with great passion on our beautiful products. We like short lines, a down-to-earth approach and a large dose of job satisfaction.
