I'm Jorian, 31 years old, mother to a sweet little boy named Faas who is just over six months old, and bonus mom to Gijs (9 years old). Together with the nicest man in the world, we live in a village near Rotterdam. People describe me as a happy person, and that's true; I try to bring cheerfulness to everything. A good cup of coffee, a cozy hotspot with a beautiful interior and good food, photography, flowers, creating nice corners in my home or for work, wrapping gifts, setting the table for a dinner party, pinning endless pictures on Pinterest—these things make me instantly happy.
Wrapping gifts... Of course, you can do this all year round, but with December just around the corner, it'sthe perfect opportunity toshow off your wrapping skills. Wrapping gifts sounds fun, and it is, but could you use some tips? Then read on. Jorian is happy to help you wrap your gifts festively. Who are you going to surprise?

You'll need a few important items to wrap your gift. How often does it happen that you have the wrapping paper perfectly ready, but you still have to rummage through the cupboard looking for tape? So first, get out yourpencil casewithscissors, apen, andwashi tape. Of course, don't forget to buy a cool gift and a card beforehand. Once you have everything you need on the table, you can start wrapping. That way, we can make the surprise complete together!
Time to really get started with the wrapping. Choose yourfavoritewrapping paper. Place the gift in front of you and cut the paper to the desired size. Wrap your gift in the paper and secure it with washi tape. It's so much more fun to use decorative tape instead of 'regular' tape. Because let's face it, it looks incredibly festive, right?Tip: If you happen to have some dream flowers at home, you can use them to brighten up your gift.

Want to finish your gift with a poem you wrote yourself? Writing a poem is a lovely gesture, although getting started can be quite a challenge. Jorian is happy to help you on your way with writing your poem.
Now it's time to add a card to the gift. Opt for ahandwrittencard, as this adds a personal touch. You can attach your card to the gift with a piece of tape or a pretty ribbon. Finish off the envelope with some attractive stamps.

It's time to present your poem and beautiful gift. Of course, this step is the most fun. There's nothing better than seeing a big smile on the face of your sister, girlfriend, grandmother, mother, or aunt! Good luck and have fun giving your gift!
