The Forgotten Child

As a long-standing partner of The Forgotten Child, we would like to work with you to contribute to the mission of this foundation. In the Netherlands, over 100,000 children grow up in families with major problems. Because of this, vulnerable children do not get the attention and love they need. The Forgotten Child Foundation is committed to helping these children, so they feel seen and loved again. To give the children a bright future, the foundation organizes children's activities and develops children's programs aimed at structural improvement in the lives of the children. Zusss collaborates with The Forgotten Child to join forces and increase the positive impact on 'forgotten children'.

This is how we do our part to ensure a bright future for children.

COOPERATION OVER THE YEARS

Since 2017, we have been working with the foundation to achieve their mission; to dedicate ourselves fully to the forgotten children in the Netherlands, making it easier for them to move again within society. Within the cooperation with The Forgotten Child, we have already been able to pick up some great projects, such as the annual development of a special Zusss x The Forgotten Child. With this we raise money for the foundation, which enables them to develop beautiful projects. Below you can see the projects through the years.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DONATION TO THE FORGOTTEN CHILD

Thanks to your help, in 2022 we donated a total of €11,392 to The Forgotten Child Foundation during 3FM Serious Request.

Twice a year The Forgotten Child Foundation organizes an outing for the forgotten children in the Netherlands under the name 'Heppie Tour'. This is a day out to various amusement parks and children's museums. In addition, these children may also enjoy a vacation or weekend trip to Hotel Heppie. This is a specially designed hotel where the children are welcome either alone or with their parent(s) to relax, have fun and do fun things. This happens within a safe and structured environment under the guidance of trained volunteers. These moments are bright spots throughout the year for the children. By working together (through donations of money or items) to create different points of light for them, we provide a more stable base for these children.
