31 years old, mom of a sweet little son Faas who is over six months old and bonus mom of Gijs (9 years old). Together with the best husband in the world we live in a village near Rotterdam. People describe me as a happy egg and that is true, I try to bring cheer into everything. A cup of good coffee, a cozy hotspot with a beautiful interior and good food, photography, flowers, making nice corners in the house or for work, wrapping presents, setting the table for dinner, pinning endless pictures on Pinterest, all make me instantly happy.
There are surely plenty of times for you to surprise someone with a gift. Putting someone in the spotlight in these times is extra fun and special. At Zusss you can find lots of nice things to give away. Of course it is extra cool to wrap it yourself. Because say it yourself, a gift with cozy paper, tape and labels is still EXTRA festive? Especially if it also comes with a personalized card.
With paper, string, tape and a label, you can go a long way. It does not have to be complicated. Luckily you can find all these items in the Zusss webshop at decoration & wrapping. Be careful, there is so much choice in tape. They are all so nice. Below is a small step-by-step plan and in no time you have your gift ready:
Supplies:
Wrapping paper
Rope
Washi tape
A cute card
Get everything ready, remember the string or ribbon and grab a pair of scissors.
Cut a piece of wrapping paper and wrap the gift at the bottom of the wrapping paper. Then fold the paper around the gift. Then secure the folded piece of wrapping paper with a piece of that cute washi tape.
Cut a long piece of string or ribbon and wrap it around the gift and then tie a bow. To finish it off, hang a gift tag from the string and you can write a card that you slide behind the string.
Sometimes it's nice to wrap something with something other than paper. Therefore, here is a new creative idea: use a tea towel as gift wrap. Not only is it original to give, you also have an extra gift to give! Make sure the gift is not a crazy shape and not too big. After all, a tea towel is not big by itself, so it has to fit.
Supplies:
Nice ribbon or a piece of string
A (ironed) tea towel
A gift tag
Knead eraser

Gather all supplies and make sure your tea towel is smoothed.
Place your gift in the center of the tea towel and wrap it as you would wrap a gift with paper. Only now you don't use tape, you use kneading eraser so that the tea towel sticks together.
Turn your gift over and check that the text on the tea towel is centered correctly. Wrap a ribbon around the gift, slip a tag on it and make a big bow! It's really super simple, but oh-so-cute.
Here we packed a sushi package, and after a nice dinner with family, friends or loved one, you can also wash the dishes with a nice tea towel!
