31 years old, mother of a sweet little boy named Faas, who is just over six months old, and bonus mom to Gijs (9 years old). Together with the nicest man in the world, we live in a village near Rotterdam. People describe me as a happy person, and that's true; I try to bring cheerfulness to everything. A good cup of coffee, a cozy hotspot with a beautiful interior and good food, photography, flowers, creating nice corners in my home or for work, wrapping gifts, setting the table for a dinner party, pinning endless pictures on Pinterest—these things make me instantly happy.

There are bound to be plenty of occasions when you want to surprise someone with a gift. Putting someone in the spotlight is especially fun and special in these times. At Zusss, you can find endless fun things to give away. Of course, it's extra cool to wrap it yourself. Because let's face it, a gift wrapped in fun paper, tape, and labels is EXTRA festive, right? Especially when it comes with a personal card.
With paper, string, tape, and a label, you can go a long way. It doesn't have to be complicated. Fortunately, you can find all these items in the Zusss webshop under decorations & wrapping. Keep in mind, there is so much choice in tape. They are all so cute. Below is a small step-by-step plan and in no time you will have your gift ready:
Supplies:
Wrapping paper
Rope
Washi tape
A cute card

Get everything ready, including the string or ribbon, and grab a pair of scissors.
Cut a piece of wrapping paper and wrap the gift at the bottom of the paper. Then fold the paper around the gift. Next, secure the folded piece of wrapping paper with a piece of that cute washi tape.
Cut a long piece of string or ribbon, wrap it around the gift, and then tie it in a bow. To finish it off, hang a gift tag on the string and write a card that you can slide behind the string.

Sometimes it's fun to wrap something in something other than paper. So here's a new creative idea: use a tea towel as gift wrapping paper. Not only is it original, but you also have an extra gift to give! Just make sure the gift isn't too oddly shaped or too big. Tea towels aren't that big themselves, so everything has to fit, of course.
Supplies:
Pretty ribbon or a piece of string
A (ironed) tea towel
A gift tag
Kneading gum

Gather all the necessary items and ensure that your tea towel is smooth.
Place your gift in the center of the tea towel and wrap it as you would wrap a gift with paper. Instead of tape, use modeling clay to stick the tea towel together.
Turn your gift over and check that the text on the tea towel is centered. Wrap a ribbon around the gift, slide on a label, and make a big bow! It's really super simple, but so much fun.
Here we have packed a sushi package, and after a delicious dinner with family, friends, or loved ones, you can also do the dishes with a beautiful tea towel!
